Continuous insulation using steel-stud batts

InSoFast Batt-Brackets are an engineered system of thermally broken standoff brackets that use steel-stud batt insulation as a continuous exterior layer while eliminating thermal bridging. Batt insulation is far less expensive than rigid mineral wool board and easier to work with — the Batt-Bracket system lets you use it as exterior continuous insulation behind a vapor-permeable WRB.

Built-in ventilated rainscreen

The integrated ventilated rainscreen promotes drying through the WRB and reduces condensation risk, putting the batts in a much better drying condition than cavity-installed insulation.

Pre-engineered for extreme wind

Pre-engineered for high wind loads and extreme climates, with a rugged design that maintains performance in storm-prone areas, for both wall and roof applications.

Fits standard steel-stud batts

Available in 3.5", 5.5", and 7.25" depths to match common batt thicknesses. Steel-stud batts measure 16¼" or 24¼" wide for complete wall coverage; high-density batts such as mineral wool are recommended. Brackets fasten to wood, steel, or concrete; batts insert into the brackets, then a WRB and furring strips install over the top.
