InSoFast X-Brackets

Engineered continuous insulation with zero thermal bridging

InSoFast X-Brackets are an engineered system of thermally broken standoff brackets that create a continuous layer of exterior insulation while eliminating thermal bridging. Designed to be filled with closed-cell spray foam or dense-packed blown insulation, the X-Bracket approach lets builders hit a target R-value by choosing bracket depth and insulation type rather than deepening the wall cavity.

Built-in ventilated rainscreen

An integrated cross-ventilated rainscreen channels moisture away and promotes drying, improving long-term durability and mold resistance in continuous exterior insulation assemblies.

Pre-engineered for extreme wind

The X-Bracket family is pre-engineered for high wind loads and extreme climates, with allowable cladding-weight and wind-pressure tables for Exposure B, C, and D and roof-specific detailing.

Fastens to wood, steel, or concrete

Brackets fasten with common construction screws or ring-shank nails to wood and steel, or with concrete screws or Loctite PL Premium 3X adhesive on the 2.5", 3.75", and 5.5" sizes. They accept standard furring strips and cladding systems.

Exterior walls, roofs, basements and concrete walls, floors, and shipping containers.

Sizes & coverage

Available in 2.5", 3.75", 5.5", 7.5", and 9.5" depths, sold by the box of 24. A box covers roughly 77–136 sq ft depending on framing and bracket spacing. Code evaluated by DrJ Engineering (TER 2405-119) and approved by Miami-Dade County. Made in the USA.
