EXOPERM MONO 150 is a three-ply external breather membrane combining woven protection layers with a monolithic functional film, used on facades and roofs across timber- and steel-framed construction.
What it does
The monolithic film actively transports moisture vapour from the cold side of the insulation outward — unlike microporous membranes that rely on small pores that can clog. The membrane stays watertight and windtight from the outside while letting structural moisture escape, even after long-term aging and UV exposure.
When and where to use it
- Rear-ventilated facades with closed joints
- Pitched, flat, and hybrid roofs (warm, cold, or mixed)
- Cold-side application over insulation in timber and steel frames
- Both new build and retrofit
