XTE Aerogel Insulation

What it does

Pyrogel XTE is a flexible aerogel composite blanket engineered for high-temperature applications up to 650°C / 1200°F. Its extremely low thermal conductivity provides 2× to 8× better thermal performance than conventional high-temp insulations, allowing the blanket to be up to 75% thinner.

When to use it

• High-temperature pipes, vessels, valves, and flanges
• Congested mechanical spaces where thinner insulation is required
• Applications targeting protection against corrosion under insulation (CUI)
• Tight architectural details needing high R-value in thin sections
