Thermal-Grip® Masonry Veneer Anchor
What it does
The Thermal-Grip MVA (Masonry Veneer Anchor) anchors brick veneer back to steel-stud, wood-stud or masonry walls through a layer of continuous insulation. The polycarbonate barrel keeps the wire tie off the structural screw, cutting thermal bridging, and its Wedge Seal seals the penetration through the air and water-resistive barrier behind the insulation.

- 2 in Thermal-Grip brick-tie washer

- SIPLD screw for light-gauge steel, wood or masonry
- Two T-30 driver bits per box
Box of 250. Choose the anchor length (1 to 4 in) to match the layers the barrel passes through: the insulation plus any gypsum sheathing.

Wire ties are not included. Tick them beside Add to Cart or buy them separately. Every tie fits every anchor length; choose the tie length for your air gap.

When fastening into concrete or CMU, pre-drill with a 3/16 in masonry bit.
