Thermal-Grip® MVA Wire Tie — 3 in, Hot-Dip Galvanized

The 3 in hot-dip galvanized wire tie for the Thermal-Grip® MVA Masonry Veneer Anchor. The tie hooks onto the anchor's 2 in brick-tie washer and spans the air gap into the brick veneer's mortar joint. It is sold separately from the anchor and fits every MVA anchor length (1–4 in).

Choosing a tie

Pick the tie length for the air gap behind your veneer so the tie embeds properly in the mortar joint. MVA assemblies are designed for air gaps of 1 to 2 in. Hot-dip galvanized carbon steel and stainless steel ties are available in both lengths; for seismic zones, add the MVA Seismic Clip.
