Patented WickRight Parapet™ protect parapets from moisture intrusion, yet allow air to flow across and into parapet, which produces a lift force that draws moisture vapor up and out of masonry walls. How Parapet Passive Ventilation Works:
WickRight Parapet Vent products protect against moisture intrusion, yet allow airflow across and into parapet by 7.2 cpm per lineal foot with an 18 mph wind, produces a lift force of 7.87 lbf to draw moisture vapor up and out of masonry walls.
WickRight Passive Ventilation is field proven in over 100 buildings in Chicago, Milwaukee, Tampa, Central Ohio and Northern California.
How Roof Vent Works:
Patented WickRight Roof Vent exhausts heat from under the roof membrane and beneath the plywood roof deck and interstitial roof space. It eliminates condensation build-up, which significantly extends the life of roof membranes, plywood sheathing and insulation. Roof Vent also provides an interior rain screen for walls, allows moisture vapor to exit and separates the roof space from the masonry to keep it dry.
Roof Vent works in conjunction with WickRight Parapet Vents, including Vented Receiver Clip, WickRight Metal Coping Vent, WickRight Clay Coping Vent. We recommend combining parapet and roof passive ventilation systems to maximize drying effect.
Consider also installing our Roof Vent extension (add to your order for an additional $25 per 100 ft) into the roof system to separate insulation from masonry walls — call for details.
- Install vertically against parapet wall at the junction of wall and roof deck on low-slope roof buildings.
- Modified Bitumen can be torched directly to the 1/2″ Polyiso Coverboard side of WickRight Roof Vent.
- No primer needed
- No roof termination bar is needed
- Roof Vent should also be installed against Mechanical and Stairwell buildings to maximize passive ventilation of the entire roof system. Call to discuss the construction of your roof top buildings. Buildings with siding require different counter flashing profile.

How to Order:
Measure length of parapet wall to be vented, add 10% for corners, etc
Example — wall is 125′ x 110% = 137.5′
Order 140′ — because Drip Edge, Receiver Clip and Offset Counter Flashing come in 10 foot lengths
Kit 3 will come with equal lengths of Drip Edge, Receiver Clip and Offset Counter Flashing
Lead time/Shipping:
Kit #3 is typically in stock, however, should fabrication be needed, it takes 7-10 business days. Shipping is typically via FedEx LTL Freight, 5-10 business days.
Shipping and Handling for 100′ with 4’x4′ panels of roof vent ranges between $500-$600 depending on destination.
We will provide a shipping quote upon receipt of order.

Crush tested up to 300 lbs per square inch — no worries about installing under heavy capstones.
If you have a project with capstones exceeding 300 lbs per stone, call to discuss custom fabrication options.
