WickRight Capstone Vented Drip Edge

WickRight Capstone Vented Drip Edge is a patented passive ventilation system installed beneath capstones on parapet walls, designed to break the moisture-trap that drives mold, decay, and IAQ problems in wet masonry buildings.

What it does

A stainless steel drip edge with a polypropylene vent panel sits under the capstone over a vapor-permeable membrane. The drip edge keeps wind-driven rain out at the top of the wall, while the vent panel and membrane let interior moisture vapour escape — testing shows the vents draw -7.2 CFM per linear foot at 18 mph wind, generating ~7.87 lb of lift to actively pull moisture vapor out of the masonry.

When and where to use it

• Parapet walls of any composition (block, brick, or combination)
