WickRight Vented Bug Screen

WickRight Vented Bug Screen is the insect screen detail installed behind WickRight counter-flashing and vent products to keep insects out of the cavity wall and parapet airflow paths without restricting ventilation.

What it does

It sits behind the counter-flashing where wind would otherwise drive insects into the wall cavity through the open vent path, providing a mesh barrier sized for masonry construction. The mesh blocks insects while preserving the WickRight passive airflow that dries the wall.

When and where to use it

• Behind WickRight Standard or Offset Counter Flashing
• Behind any WickRight vented product where insect ingress is a concern
• New construction and retrofit on wet-masonry buildings

Key benefits

• Maintains WickRight passive ventilation airflow
• Compatible with the full WickRight metal flashing line
• Sized for parapet and counter-flashing installations
