Blaugelb Plinth Thermal Insulation Profile IHP/EPS is the highest-performance variant in the Blaugelb plinth-profile line — an EPS rigid-foam core wrapped in two layers of IHP integral rigid foam board for maximum heat and moisture protection at front and balcony door thresholds.

What it does

The IHP integral foam cladding gives the EPS core a denser, more weather-resistant face on each side, raising the thermal and moisture performance of the plinth detail beyond the standard EPS profile. Used at the door plinth — the foot of the frame where it meets the floor structure — to break the thermal bridge through one of the leakiest details in a high-performance building.
