Blaugelb Sill Connection Profile is a connection profile installed under a window frame, sized narrower than the frame itself so the interior or exterior window sill can be positioned in exactly the right plane.
What it does
It provides a structural and thermal interface between the window frame and the sill insulation profile beneath. Because the connection profile is narrower than the window frame, the installer has freedom to align the visible sill on either side without compromising the frame's seating. Manufactured in heights from 30 to 80 mm to match different sill build-ups.
When and where to use it
- Under window frames in new builds and energy retrofits
- High-performance window installations
- Pair with the Blaugelb Insulation Sill Profile beneath
