Targeted Interior Air Seal

PROSOCO Targeted Interior Air Seal (TIAS) seals critical building-envelope connections quickly from the inside of a structure, achieving the same air-control performance and continuity expected from an exterior air-sealing application.

What it does

TIAS is an elastomeric, water-based air sealant installed after exterior sheathing and before interior drywall or paneling. Designed for negative-side air control strategies, it works on new and existing construction and does not off-gas or contain solvents, isocyanates, or phthalates.

Where to use it

• Over joints and seams in ceilings, walls, or floor planes
• Mudsill to concrete slab
• Bottom plate to mudsill and to the sheathed floor assembly
• Top plate to second top plate
• Around through-wall penetrations

Application

Apply with an airless sprayer, an airless sprayer fitted with a caulk-tip, or a 20-30 oz bulk caulk gun. Cleans up with water.
