R-Guard Cat 5 Rain Screen

PROSOCO R-Guard Cat 5 Rain Screen is a fluid-applied, single-component STP air and water barrier engineered for use behind ventilated rain-screen cladding.

What it does

It sprays or rolls onto exterior sheathing and cures into a seamless, elastomeric weatherproofing membrane that handles weather up to Category 5 hurricane wind-driven rain. Silane-functional polymer chemistry gives long-term adhesion and crack-bridging behind open-jointed or vented cladding where the AWB sees both UV and pressure cycling.

• Primary AWB behind pressure-equalized rain screen cladding
• Above-grade walls requiring high air-tightness
• Buildings targeting LEED or Living Building Challenge certifications
