WickRight Capstone Vented Drip Edge

Patented WickRight Capstone Vented Drip Edge helps keep masonry parapet walls dry!

Install under Capstones to prevent moisture intrusion from above and allow moisture to exhaust from the wall. WickRight Passive Ventilation increases airflow across and into the parapet by 7.2 cfm per linear foot with an 18 mph wind, producing a lift force of 7.87 lb to draw moisture vapor up and out of masonry walls.

WickRight Capstone Vented Drip Edge can be installed on both sides of the parapet wall or Vented Drip Edge can be installed on the exterior side of the parapet, paired with Capstone Vented Receiver Clip on the interior side of the parapet.

WickRight Capstone Vented Drip Edge is a high performance building material and part of an air sealing system.

Installation/Materials requirements:

WickRight Vapor Permeable Membrane to protect the parapet from wind driven rain entering the wall. Membrane allows moisture vapor to exit, but does not allow water to enter.

If parapet is more than 8″ wide, install appropriate size Capstone Vented Filler between edge vents to prevent self-adhered flashing from sagging over time.

How to Order:

Sold in 10 foot lengths. Measure length of parapet wall.

If installing on the exterior AND interior sides of the wall, order length x 2 plus 10% for corners and to ensure you have enough product on site.

Capstone Vented Receiver Clip is typically in stock, however, should fabrication be needed, it takes 7-10 business days. Shipping is typically via FedEx LTL Freight, 5-10 business days.

Shipping and Handling for 1oo feet costs $200-250.00 depending on destination. We will provide a shipping quote upon receipt of order.
