Patented WickRight Clay Coping Vent AND WickRight Vapor Permeable Membrane helps keep masonry walls with Clay Coping Tiles dry! The Clay Coping Vent supports the one-way vapor permeable membrane which allow moisture vapor to leave the wall, yet prevents water from entering the wall.
1. Install WickRight Clay Coping Vent open side down. Place the vent length-wise in the middle of the wall – equidistant from the exterior and interior edges of the wall.
2. Install Wickright Vapor Permeable Membrane on top of vent. REQUIRED!
Purchase Membrane width that will cover the entire wall plus 1″ – attach membrane to wall near outside edges with thin bead of caulk. Allow Membrane to drape over the side of the wall approx 1/2″.
3. Install Clay Copings with sealant between clay copings – NOT mortar! Follow WickRight Clay Coping Installation Instructions for best results.
