StuccoPrime

PROSOCO StuccoPrime is a single-component, solvent-free 'liquid lath' that creates the bonding interface between R-Guard waterproofing membranes and a cementitious stucco coating.

What it does

It's a 100% solids silyl-terminated polymer primer that cures slowly enough to allow stucco scratch coats to be applied wet-on-wet — the layers bond together both chemically and mechanically. The cured film is elastomeric, breathable, and resists water emulsification when exposed to moisture during cure.

When and where to use it

• Direct stucco application over R-Guard Cat 5 or FastFlash-treated facades
• Cementitious finishes over masonry, concrete, and CMU substrates protected by R-Guard
• Premium facade systems where the stucco needs to bond to a continuous waterproofing layer
