Flat Roof Deck-Mounted Skylight

FAKRO Flat Roof Deck-Mounted Skylight is a family of triple-glazed skylights that mount directly to flat or low-slope roof decks without a separate curb — available fixed (DXF), manually vented (DMF), electrically vented (DEF), solar vented (DEF-S), and walkable (DXW).

What it does

It brings daylight into rooms under flat roofs through an insulated triple glazing unit on a multi-chamber PVC frame. Vented versions open for fresh air — by manual crank (DMF), wall switch or remote (DEF), or a solar-powered motor with no wiring (DEF-S). The walkable DXW carries traffic-rated glass, so the skylight can sit in a roof deck or terrace that people walk on.

When and where to use it

• Flat and low-slope roofs (2°–15° pitch range)
• Deck-mounted installs mean fewer steps and fewer weather-prone joints than curb systems
• Choose the DXW where the roof doubles as a terrace or walkway
