Sound Seal 90 5G PL

What it does

Sound Seal 90 is a high-quality latex-based acoustical sealing compound designed for sound-rated wall, partition, and floor/ceiling assemblies. It seals the perimeter, top/bottom runners, cut-outs, and utility penetrations that would otherwise leak sound around an STC-rated assembly. The 5-gallon pail (5G PL) is the bulk format for spray or gun-grade application on large jobs.

When to use it

• Top and bottom runner sealing prior to drywall installation
• Outer-edge perimeter joints of sound-rated partitions
• Cut-outs and utility penetrations
• Floor/ceiling assemblies between residential units or public areas
