Conlex Butyl — Case of 2

CONLEX BUTYL is a single-sided polymer-modified butyl rubber tape for durable airtight and watertight seals at parapets, sills, and material transitions.

What it does

The butyl compound stays permanently flexible and conformable, so it bonds tightly to irregular surfaces and absorbs structural movement without losing its seal. It bonds to most construction substrates without primer and tolerates outdoor exposure for up to three months before final cover.

When and where to use it

• Hermetically sealing parapets, sills, and copings
• Bedding counter-battens against exterior membranes on warm roofs
• Transitioning between dissimilar materials (timber to masonry, OSB to PVC, etc.)
• Sealing window and door junctions, pipe penetrations, and wall connections
• Internal or external use
