Sill Connection Profile
The Blaugelb Sill Connection Profile made of high-density EPS (expanded polystyrene) offers the best possible heat and moisture protection, and individually adapted to the installed window or door elements, enables technically and optically clean installation/fastening of the exterior and interior window sill – including optimal thermal separation.
The bank connection profile is narrower than the frame of the window, so it is possible to optimally position the interior or exterior window sill. The blaugelb bank connection profiles can be manufactured in heights from 30 to 80 mm. A tongue-and-groove plug-in connection enables endless extension and thanks to the excellent pressure bearing capacity of 1,260 kg/dm², the profiles can also be used with large and very wide window elements without any problems.
The profile-related bank connection profiles for PVC, wooden or aluminium windows are available in various different shapes and heights.
Sealing recommendation: Seal between the frame and the blaugelb bank connection profile with blaugelb Hybrid Polymer Crystal (item no. 0426600).
For screwing to the window sill, we recommend a window sill screw with pressed washer A2 4.5×35 mm
Product advantages:
- Ensures a technically and optically clean reception of the exterior and interior window sill
- Secured load transfer even with high element weights
- No deformation in the area of the mounting block perpendicular to the window plane, due to flat flanks, thus prevention of inadmissible movement in the state of use
- Reduction of the service effort for window setting
- Reduction of the thermal bridge between the interior window sill and the exterior window sill
- Guarantees good thermal insulation
- Suitable for all PVC and/or aluminium windows due to individual cutting
- Suitable for stone and aluminium window sills due to the height of 35 and 40 mm
- Secured screw connection of the aluminium window sill
- Tongue and groove connector for endless extension
- Optimal transport, pallet size 1,200 mm
- Area of application in new and old buildings
- One solution for all profile systems
- Certified according to the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) Silver Standard®
- Passive House High-Performance building material
