Fixed Roof Window

FAKRO Fixed Roof Window (FNP) is the non-opening member of the FAKRO roof window line — a wooden-frame window with the sash permanently fixed into the frame.

What it does

Because the sash never opens, the FNP carries a larger glazing area than opening windows of the same size and can be installed very low above floor level. The triple-glazed P5-G2 unit pairs a laminated, burglary-resistant inner pane with krypton gas fill for strong thermal performance, set in a pine frame finished with two layers of clear acrylic lacquer.

When and where to use it

• Pitched roofs where daylight is needed and ventilation is handled elsewhere
• Low sill installations, and high placements where an operable window would be impractical
• Note: standard glazing is rated for elevations up to 3,000 ft above sea level

Key benefits

• Larger glazing area and lower install height than opening windows
• Triple-glazed with laminated anti-burglary inner pane (P5-G2) and krypton fill
• Matched flashing kits available for shingle, tile, and standing-seam roofs
