Smart Band

Rothoblaas Smart Band is a single-sided universal sealing tape with a unique separable liner that can be split at any point without pre-cutting — a multi-purpose tape that reduces the number of widths a crew needs on the truck.

What it does

The carrier is highly deformable and UV-stabilised, so the tape conforms to complex geometry and resists tearing. The release liner separates anywhere along its length, letting the installer split it at the dimension they need on the spot. Meets DIN 4108-7 for external door and window sealing — handles heavy rain, stagnant water, and mechanical perforations.

When and where to use it

• External door and window sealing
• Membrane and panel detailing where standard widths don't fit
• Airtight construction on timber, OSB, brick, or concrete (primer recommended on masonry)
• Both indoor and outdoor use
