Pre-insulated PEX-Al-PEX pipe nominal 5/8″ size (O.D. 0.79″- I.D. 0.63″). Pipe consist of an inner and outer layer of PEX (polyethylene raised temperature) bonded to a center layer of overlapped and welded aluminum. Covered with insulation (0.39”).
Messana – Pre-insulated PEX coils are pre-insulated crossed-linked polyethylene (PEX-a) pipe with a three-layer EVOH oxygen barrier. The pipe comes insulated with a tubular expanded polyethylene foam (EPE) 3/8″ (10 mm) thick covered with an extra layer of polyethylene film (PE) to protect the insulation during the installation. The maximum temperature and pressure ratings of the tubing are in accordance with ASTM F876 and CSA B137.5. This pipe is specifically designed for radiant heating and cooling systems with insulation to prevent condensation. Messana – Pre-insulated PEX coils are high performance building supplies.
