Description
As a subslab insulator, foam glass gravel is capable of replacing both rigid foam board and backfill gravel. With thermal insulation, closed cell structure, and compressive strength of 116 psi, foam glass is water resistant, fireproof, pest and rot proof, and frost heave resistant.
On a typical job site, Glavel is able to replace both rigid foam board insulation and crushed stone aggregate. Per the detail on the right, a Glavel installation is a 2 for 1 installation, simplifying and streamlining job site complexities, while reducing labor and installation time.
