R-Guard Cat 5 ICF

PROSOCO R-Guard Cat 5 ICF is the fluid-applied STP air and water barrier optimized for insulated concrete form (ICF) walls, while remaining suitable for exterior sheathing, CMU back-up walls, and precast concrete.

What it does

It cures into a seamless elastomeric membrane that prevents water and air penetration through the building envelope at any wind condition up through Category 5 hurricane intensity. Bonds to damp substrates, cures in wet weather, and accelerates dry-in even in poor conditions.

When and where to use it

• Primary AWB on ICF walls
• Exterior sheathing, CMU back-up, and precast concrete
• Pressure-equalized rain screen construction behind open or vented cladding
• Above-grade wall assemblies needing rapid dry-in
