3M Fire & Water Barrier Tape

What it does

3M Fire and Water Barrier Tape is an elastomeric pressure-sensitive tape that combines firestopping with air, water, smoke, and sound control. It bonds to common building materials, including damp surfaces, and stays flexible across joint movement.

When to use it

• Construction joints and rough openings in fire-rated walls
• Perimeter joints and through-penetrations
• Air, water, and smoke sealing in commercial assemblies
