Hybrid Foil Adhesive
The Blaugelb Hybrid Foil Adhesive is a one-component, permanently elastic adhesive on a hybrid polymer basis for bonding blaugelb foils to
structures.
Designed for indoor and outdoor use, the Blaugelb Hybrid Foil Adhesive is water-resistant and also weather and UV-resistant. Thanks to its good initial adhesion, it can usually be applied without primer to almost all — even wet — substrates encountered in construction. A softer formulation has been defined for ease of processing.
Applications:
The Blaugelb Hybrid Foil Adhesive grey is especially suitable for bonding fleece-backed Blaugelb foils when connecting door/window frames to reveals made from masonry, concrete, plaster, cement etc., to meet the requirements of expert installation and airtightness.
Substrates:
All substrates normally encountered in building construction, such as concrete, porous concrete, plasterboard, plaster, masonry, fibre cement, wood, rigid PVC, aluminium, metals, GRP, etc. Do not use on bitumen, PE, PP, PTFE or silicones. Incompatibility may occur on porous natural stone (e.g. sandstone, marble etc.) and on plastics containing plasticisers (e.g. soft PVC, butyl rubber, APTK). EPDM foils can be bonded but incompatibility is possible due to the plasticiser content in the foils.
Product benefits:
- Outstandingly suitable for bonding fleece-backed Blaugelb foils
- Very good processability thanks to softer formulation
- Moisture and temperature-resistant
- Weather and water-resistant once cured
- Can be used from as low as 0°C (ambient temperature and substrate, ice-free)
- Permanently elastic, compensates for unevenness and material movements
- Silicone, isocyanate and solvent-free
- Non-corrosive
- Almost odourless
- Very easy to plaster over once cured
- Suitable for all standard construction surfaces*
- Building material class B2 (DINÂ 4102)
- Tested to be very low in pollutants according to EMICODEÂ EC1Â Plus
- Passive House High-Performance building material
